One thing I have been doing regularly is following Japanese pro wrestling, or puroresu (something like that) from time to time through various websites. Two facts came through those sites I want to mention because A) its one match that I would KILL to see, and B) its funny how times don't change.
First, in Pro Wrestling NOAH, a match has been signed between former ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima and current GHC Tag Team Champion Naomichi Marufuji. Marufuji has won every title belt in NOAH, and is an amazing competitor, as I witnessed during his bout with Claudio Castagnoli at Glory By Honor VI Night 2. Morishima's just a beast, an animal, and a monster. He makes Batista look like a mouse with his ferocity. I'd kill to witness that match, but it's taking place in December in the land of the Rising Sun. Ah, the price of fame, or in my case, lack there of.
Second, in the "times never change" thing, Dragon Gate Wrestling, based out of Japan, and the remnants of Ultimo Dragon's promotion, brought in former WWE star Kenzo Suzuki recently out of mothballs and back in to active competition. Not even three matches in to his return to pro wrestling, and he's already being criticized for his lack of performance. My, how times do not change for the un-talented. Yeah, I know I said I wouldn't criticize those who got in the ring, but let's be honest, this guy was just plain awful.
Being a parent sometimes can be a real drag. *sigh*
