Some Smackdown commentary....

I'm not truly distressed Edge won the title back. I am distressed he has this stable that includes the GM, but I guess it was expected, especially with T Lo back in the mix, someone had to turn heel. I am sickened by the love interest angle between Vickie and Edge, and I think it's repulsive, but, I can't say much more than that, if she's OK with that, and she's getting a paycheck, what can I do but endure it.

The Noble/McCool thing was WAY too long. Noble's good at what he does, don't get me wrong, but the thing is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO off the wall corny I couldn't watch it. I did, but with the sound down. Yep, I'm that much of a loser. What can I say?

I want this to happen. For the WWE Tag Team Championships, John Morrison & The Miz vs. CM Punk & Kane

Book it.

I liked Big Daddy V and Mark Henry initially as a tag team. It's gotten awfully old, really fast.

Why no Taker?

Batista as the hunter is a better fit for Smackdown right now than Batista as a champion.

Finlay as a face. I never thought I'd see the day.

I like the Jesse & Festus tag team, but the Santa match was dumb. Yeah, I know it was necessary, but it was still dumb. If they're going to do that type of a match, do it with some people that look a hell of a lot better in Santa outfits, like the Divas... I thought it was going to be Cherry's wrestling debut, but alas, I was wrong. Waaah!

When are they gonna drop the US title off MVP? They gonna wait for Matt to get back? Damn. Ah well, he's still good. Real good.

Im kind of bummed JBL got back in to active competition. He was REALLY becoming a fun listen. Hopefully, they'll find someone legitimate to replace him. In the meantime, Tazz can work for now, but hopefully, the Tazz that's legit as a color analyst, not the Tazz trying to be the heel to Cole's sissy face tactics.

BUT, when you put two and two together, it comes up with this answer. Trips may not be turning heel so fast, as JBL will come in, and quickly take the heel top challenger spot. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to potentially see Triple H vs. JBL at Wrestlemania for the title. I know they're talking H/Batista, but been there, done that. H isn't crazy about being a face, but damnit, that's new, and that's fresh, and that would be fun as hell to watch.

Anyone get the feeling the Majors had no choice but to take this stable deal with Edge or lose their jobs? I do.

Lastly, a nice setup for the title match. I'm annoyed at the dirty ending, but not because it happened, but because it's going to happen a lot for the forseeable future, and that's not fun. I would like to see title matches end clean, but I guess it's something I just have to get used to. I will, but I'm not going to say I like it.
