The New Palace Project Shout Out Chat Room

Wha - Wha Happen?

You lose touch for 48 hours, and the world comes crashin' down. Ok, now, not literally, but figuratively speaking.

ROH's Trios tourney gets cancelled. I get snowed on, and Scott Hall doesn't show at a PPV. Oh wait, that's normal.

I didn't get Turning point, but I have to say I was interested, if for no other reason than the Abyss hardcore match. Why? Call me sadistic, but I like that crap.

Someone asked me in an email why I didn't pick the feast or fired match. Why? Simple. I didn't know who was in it, and frankly, I could care less. Yes, I like gimmick matches, but this one didn't do it for me. Maybe it would have if TNA was smart enough to give us the payoff on PPV, but no, we gotta wait till thursday on Spike. How abhorrent can you get? You CANNOT tell me that anyone who bought this mess is happy that they didn't get a payoff from that match.

If Joe's promo is a "worked shoot", I am mystified. I believe whole heartedly that Joe, Homicide, Daniels, hell, even Styles are probably pissed at how TNA is not being booked. Hell, where's Homicide and Daniels even been lately? Yeah, I'm a sick ROH bot when it comes down to it, but let's call it as I see it.

I watched Final Battle 2006 on Saturday, and still loved it. The Homicide/Danielson match for the ROH title was off the charts. Last time I can say that convincingly about TNA, was hell, back when Jeff Hardy was still in the company.

I didn't quite link up 218 (the pick column) like I should have, and I apologize. It was a long weekend. Not fun at all. Grumble, grumble. i'll get the links up, and get my record for the year on TNA PPVs published hopefully before the end of the morning.

I wait for the people to rip me on this one. Yes, I didn't watch it, Yes, I didn't buy it. But YES, DAMNIT, I HAVE AN OPINION, AND I'M GONNA SAY IT.

About the problem that some of the people on here have with you and ROH:

I have never seen ROH (sounds pretty awesome though) and I have just as big of a problem as you do with the way TNA books their shows. They just don't use their homegrown talent enough. They are too worried about the WWE/WCW castoffs and trying to keep up with the WWE. So I really don't think that opinion has much to do with you being an ROH bot. It's about recognizing talent.
