Emails on Ric Flair....

This friend of mine did not leave his name, (if he writes me back with it, I'll insert it), but he sure as hell makes a good point. Check this out.

Great piece on the greatest to ever step into a professional wrestling ring. My brother also had the pleasure of meeting Flair in the mid 90's and had nothing but nice things to say about him. In fact, when my brother told Naitch that I was a huge fan, Flair signed a postcard and it was mailed to me a few days later.

You mention that Flair should have been given one more run with the title. I can't help but wonder if Flair was offered the run but turned it down. He was, after all, offered the main event at WM24 and said "no thanks." Flair knows what is good for the sport of pro wrestling as a whole (despite what others may believe) and perhaps he believed that a man his age holding a belt would decrease its value. Just some food for thought. Once again, loved the piece.

Thank you, Ric.
