Comment response...

Brad commented on my previous post, and I felt obligated to respond this way than to try and respond person to person because I have a feeling he's not going to be the only one who has something similar to say.

You are right, Brad. I have been negative. And I have noticed it. I am disagreeing with you on the aspect of the soapbox thing because of simply one thing. I don't believe I have ever said I am an expert in this field in any way, shape, or form. I am what I have been from day one, a fan with a fortunate forum for expressing my views. And unfortunately, sometimes they're laced with colorful metaphors.

For what its worth, this column is stress relief for me as well. I won't go in to specifics, but its a release. Sometimes when you see my work, you could probably see an insight in to my head. The nastier the column, the more likely is I am enduring some heavy issues IRL and hence, needed to vent my spleen on something.

I make an honest effort to keep the columns as civil as I can. Sometimes it doesn't work. Sometimes, it does. I hope that you guys can understand that this is an evolving work that has its good days and its bad days. I am sure you all do.

I say this. I will make an honest effort to try and liven up the column in the future. I suspect it will be pretty quick in its effectiveness, as I am planning a pretty indepth review of the ROH show tomorrow night I will be attending. I am very jacked up to see this, and I have some new equipment that should help me with notes for a much more indepth and detailed column about the event. Hopefully, from there, it'll snowball in to some more good stuff.

I end this with one statement. I hope through all my jawjacking and idiocy you can see one thing. Under no circumstances have I ever once disputed a talent's abilities inside the ring. I dispute characters, I dispute angles, I dispute wins, losses, and titles ad nauseum, but for every man and woman who has the guts to step through the ropes in to the squared circle of combat, they have my everlasting respect.

I hope this clarifies and clears some things up.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to go collapse now.
