It was a no brainer that I wanted to pick up the No Mercy DVD because of the events of the WWE title changes and the Punjabi Prison Match. I have to comment on something. The ECW title match at that card was an absolute disgrace. CM Punk and Big Daddy V were not allowed to do any wrestling whatsoever before Matt Striker hit the ring and caused the DQ. It weakened the prestige of the title, and made both men look very bad. I don't know why that ECW title matches at PPV are booked so peculiarly, but this one was exceptionally bad.
The Six Man bonus match at No Mercy was fun, but it could have been one of the sloppiest executed matches I've ever seen. One major example, the plancha Kendrick did on Cade, I believe, just at the beginning of the end of the match, was so bad it wasn't funny. He barely touched him and he sold the entire fall no questions asked, (which is the right thing to do), but it's still tough to watch.
I'm watching H vs. Umaga for the title. It's definitely physical. Not too bad.
