Another email from Raw XV....

My buddy Logan checks in with these thoughts...

Everyone keeps talking about the venue, and while I agree the crowd just weren’t that into half of it (particularly the older stars) I don’t really think this was an event they planned before booking the venue. 15th anniversary isn’t something you would really prepare for like a 10th or 20th, and I think they just thought they could use it as a way of doing something different and boost ratings (which obviously worked). Would explain why there was no real flow to the show, and wasn’t half the event that Raw X was. Plus, as one reviewer pointed out most of it will mean nothing next week.

And as for Bret Hart, the reason WWE want him involved is quite simple, really. Just go back to Raw X when the fans were chanting his name for the Greatest Superstar, or go back to Wrestlemania XX and listen to the heat Shawn Michaels got that was related to Bret Hart, or check out the crowd at any show in Canada; heck, even just look at the size of crowds he’s been drawing for his book signings. While younger fans may not know much of him, and others may just think poorly of him, in certain parts of the country (and internationally, too) he is still remembered very fondly by fans, and there is no denying that having him at a show in New York or Canada would draw big time. Plus the man knows the business like not many others the WWE has today, and he if they were to ever get him involved behind the scenes they know they would benefit from it. Not saying that would ever happen, but we all know that is what they really want
