I know absolutely nothing about Ring of Honor so I'll take your word for it that Danielson vs. Morishima was really as top notch as you say it was. Isn't Danielson under a WWE contract or was he ever under a WWE contract at one time and decided to stay with ROH? Hardy and MVP of course was the perfect choice on the WWE side, from being thrown together as a tag team and winning the gold to going bvack and forth with the U.S. title was really brillant on the WWE's part. Its just a shame that injury had to put this feud either on hold or permanetly dropped. As far as rookies go you hit the nail on the head from the WWE's side giving it to CM Punk. We the fans rally got a taste of his style this year and he showed a lot of people that we can truly be a major player worthy of a major push. If TNA can get their act together in 2008 then the signing of Booker T will be pure genius and if they go bankrupt he and Sting will be thrown under the bus by Dixie Carter as a major reason for their bankruptcy. Lately any card whether it be on TV or PPV or house show from TNA could go as worst card of the year. Sadly that company went from possible Major rival to WWE to a company McMahon no matter how crappy a product he puts out can crush under his fingernails.
