Ever heard the song, "Bad Day" by Fuel? Or the "Had a bad day again" song by who knows who, I don't remember.
that's been the set up for me since we last spoke.
There's a couple of topics I need to address. First, I'm going to do a brief that was asked of me in a comment, which was opinions on an upcoming New Japan Pro Wrestling Show on 1/4 at the Tokyo Dome.
There's not much I can say. I am interested in the show to see how Tomko & the former A-Train handle the Steiner Brothers, I am interested to see how Abyss handles the structure of Japanese puroresu.
I guess mostly, I want to know how Angle gets the response when he returns to Japan with the belt that does not specify the IWGP Heavyweight title. I believe, from what I have read, Yuji Nagata is one of New Japan's top dogs, and it would be very interesting if Angle were to lose to Nagata, and set up a potential unification bout later on with perhaps the current IWGP Champion, Hiroshi Tanahashi.
Tanahashi I also don't know a lot about, although I did see him once in TNA against AJ. He was good, but I can't really comment any further. He has a defense of the IWGP belt on 1/4 against an opponent to be determined on 12/9 between the winner of Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Togi Makabe. I can't comment on either one of those guys, never heard of them before, but I definitely could see future title bouts involving Tanahashi, Hirooki Goto, and Nagata.
But again, I am speculating like mad. I wish I had the funds to pick up a DVD or two of these feds. I would like to see it. I am really curious to see how the former A-Train, now performing as Giant Bernard, and Tomko are received as IWGP Tag Team Champions.
I wish I could comment further, but truthfully, thats the best I can do.
One other thing, to the person who made the original comment request, LEAVE A NAME! PLEASE!
